Inside Sales Representative - Plastics Division

Sandell Plastics, a division of Sandell Construction Solutions, Inc. has a position available for an experienced inside sales rep who would be responsible for taking inbound calls from customers regarding product line and will also be responsible for placing outbound calls to obtain additional business.  The eligible candidate will have a customer-focused mentality and the ability to cold call and prosper additional business.  Salary plus commission with full company benefits.

Warehouse Personnel

Qualified candidates will possess the ability to drive a forklift, previous warehouse experience (picking/packing and shipping/receiving), the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, good math skills, attention to detail and fluency in the English language.

Machine Operator

Recent experience in Manufacturing and Machine Operation is required. 

Primary Focus: Operate one or more converting and laminating machines to produce product in sheet or roll form, meeting all finished goods specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Operate machinery to produce high quality products that meet all product specifications.
2. Practice good safety habits. Run machines safely and maintain daily housekeeping of machine and adjoining areas to keep work area clean and orderly.
3. Maintain production standards and record on daily log sheets. Fill out appropriate documentation to track production, scrap and quality testing performed during coating operation.
4. Keep waste at a minimum.
5. Notify Supervisor regarding quality control issue.
6. Manage hazardous materials including waste in accordance with site procedure.
7. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor or designee.

Knowledge and Skills
1. Intermediate skills and knowledge required to collect, organize and/or process information according to procedures.
2. Good mechanical aptitude.
3. Problem Solving Skills - adapting existing methods, procedures or formats, or rearranging data.
4. Ability to utilize measuring instruments and formulas, maintain, track and record necessary documentation for record keeping purposes.
5. Good Communication Skills
6. Must be self-motivated

Work Experience and Education
High School diploma or equivalent minimum required.
Proven experience on the following machines is desirable and subject to a signing bonus:
Flashing Machine
Foam Machine
Term Bar Punch Machine
Foam Plank Machine
N/A Machine
