Non-Crosslinked Polyethylene Foam
Sandell's Non-Crosslinked Polyethylene Foam expansion joint filler is available with or without peel top. Both products are commonly used for expansion and contraction in vertical and horizontal joint applications. This product is recommended for cold-applied sealants such as silicone, butyle, polysulfide, acrylic and ployurethane. The unique closed cell structure of this product, allows for low moisture absorption. It can be custom cut to fit any application, and does not require bond breaker. Due to the products ease of use, and pliable characteristics, it ca be applied more rapidly and efficiently as opposed to the costly alternative joint fillers currently on the market today. This product forms a forceful seal that permanently closes the joint. It eliminates the possibility of dirt, moisture and other debris from becoming trapped within the cavity, while permitting movement within the joint.Common sizes include, but are not limited to: 1/8” to 6” thickness, and the standard widths are:
1/2” to 60”. All sizes can be customized depending on the necessary requirements for Sandell®’s Non-Crosslinked Polyethylene Foam. Sandell®’s Non-Crosslinked Polyethylene Foam is available in black or white.
