Polyseal

Polyseal

Sandell's Polyseal was specifically designed as a user-friendly joint sealant for primary and secondary seals.  It is most commonly used to fill vertical and horizontal expansion, control, and isolation joints in exterior walls.  It can, however, be used as a backup seal for caulk applications as well.  The exceptional characteristics of Sandell's Polyseal give way to a breathable seal that acts as a barrier to the environment.  Being completely composed of open-celled polyurethane foam with modified acrylic flam retarding polymers, the product is free from all fluorinated hydrocarbons.  It permits the dissipation of moisture by means of evaporation, and provides a lifelong blinding seal that prevents the penetration of moisture and other harsh elements from entering the joint.

Polyseal Type C

In addition, when color matching is a necessity, choose Sandell’s Polyseal Type C. This product has the same watertight properties of standard Polyseal, the difference is the colorful, puncture resistant, elastomeric coating on the exterior surface of the product. This special coating is much more appealing and is used for the esthetics of a structure. It is available in a wide variety of colors to match most construction substrates and sealants.

Available in colors:

  • Precast White

Polyseal Type H

Sandell's Polyseal type H was specifically designed with horizontal applications in mind.  With its  unsurpassed waterproofing properties, the product includes a neoprene copolymer and crosslinked foam that gives additional strength and reinforcement when filling horizontal joints.  It maintains a watertight seal against the elements, and can even resist standing water.

Enduring a much higher level of saturation like no other pre-compressed joint filler on the makrket today, Sandell's Polyseal Type H was designed to challege most solvents, as well as fuels.  It is most commonly used in roadways, parking garages, bridge applications and airports.  Sandell's Polyseal Type H can also be used in vertical applications when additional water protection is necessary
