Mechanically Keyed Flashing
Use
Sandell's Pre-Formed Metal Flashing was created to insure moisture protection in masonry structures. It should be used at floor levels, beneath sills, over lintels, continuous at spandrel beams. beneath coping and elsewhere as mandated.
Type
Mechanically keyed flashing with 3" intervals provides a bond in the motar bed, in three different directions, creating a watertight seal without the use of solder or sealants - (except under certain conditions). The tri-level design in the mechanically keyed flashing allows moisture to exit the structure quickly and uninhibited.
