Self Adhering End Dams
Product Description:
Sandell’s Self Adhering End Dams are used in conjunction with flashing and other waterproofing accessories. They are composed of rubberized asphalt which contains an adhesive surface, along with release paper. Used to insure moisture protection, they are specifically designed to prohibit the movement of water within a structure.
Use:
Sandell’s Self Adhering End Dams direct moisture to the exterior of the structure and are used to prevent horizontal water movement above and beneath wall openings (corners and nearby jamb lines). Sandell’s Self Adhering End Dams should be installed, at longitudinal ends of flashing, over lintels, at column abutments, near building expansion joints, or whenever flashing interruptions occur.
