Mortar Net’s unique patented dovetail design and 90% open mesh weave, suspends mortar droppings above the weep vents. This technique allows moisture to easily migrate out of the masonry cavity wall. The patented design allows air to move in and out of the cavity freely, encouraging the wall to dry eliminating pressure differentials which can force moisture into the cavity. The ease of installation, and economical advantages of the product has caused Mortar Net to be specified 10 to 1 over all other mortar dropping collection devices combined. Best of all, Mortar Net is environmentally friendly having been made entirely of recycled materials.
