Sandell's Shingle Starter

Sandell's Shingle Starter Strip is a proprietary, self adhesive composite membrane.  The membrane is composed of a self-adhesive back to seal to the roof deck or underlayment, a tough granular surface will form a barrier to physical damage while providing superior UV ray protection and a seal down strip to prevent shingle uplift.

Uses:

Sandell's Shingle Starter Strip is designed to be used as an easy, cost saving alternative to the traditional method of cutting and inverting shingles to form a starter course.  May be used as a rake edge strip to prevent wind uplift.

Size

Shingle Starter Strip is provided in rolls that are 7.2" wide by 33' 4" long.  Sandell's Shingle Starter Strip is self adhesive and cold-applied.  No special adhesives, heat or equipment are necessary to install.
